Convenience and price

I did not like that I could not connect to the internet the first day and the staff could not fix the problem. I also did not appreciate being charged for using the safe and I did not use it.

The breakfast was complimentary, and the location was cozy. My room had central heating, a personal safe, and a TV with multiple channels. the hotel is conveniently situated near various places, shops, and Ashland, Oregon.

Very convenient location. Down the street from the University.

The room needs painting and the carpet needs cleaning.

Fairly clean hotel in a nice building very close to many areas. Free breakfast with a lot of food, also with good hot waffles and cereal. Pleasant incredibly nice staff, magnificent location close to everything.

It was a perfectly pleasant stay for one night. Hotel's location was comfy, close to everything. Besides, it was right by Ashland, Oregon, the theaters, and many areas, room, hallways, even on the luggage bench.

The swimming pool was well-maintained. The rooms were clean and in good shape.

Front desk line on phone always busy signal - Breakfast room at 8:35 - out of yogurt, the only protein. Upon notification that yogurt was out the reply was "Take it up with the manager" No waffle mix - told she was too busy at front desk to make more sub-standard coffee fan in bathroom was excessively noisy.

The hotel's location was ideal, conveniently close to everything nearby.

This motel was old back in the 90'S. It's a $49.99/night motel at most. The following night I stayed in a b&b that was walking distance to downtown for $95 and the room was amazing, night and day difference from the motel 8.

For the $$ there was nothing I liked.

I booked this hotel because it had an indoor swimming pool for my kid. The swimming pool was so cold that she and my husband, no strangers to cold water, lasted a split second and that was the end of that. Very disappointing as I spent extra to get a hotel with a pool. The hotel itself was older and showing it, worn carpet, outdated decor, rickety toilet seats that made you think twice before sitting on them. It was clean enough, though, and not uncomfortable. The last thing I have to say is the front desk clerk moved as if she were made of lead. It took me an hour to check in, I kid you not, and when I was done there was a family of four sprawled on the floor looking like they were growing cobwebs. With their little boys I knew they had selected the hotel for the swimming pool, too, and I wanted to warn them but didn't.

Our room had a bathtub which was awesome! Having a microwave, coffee and tea making stuff, and a fridge really made a difference. 🛁

Good room for the price

Did not receive a receipt when we left, was told one would be sent via e-mail but it has been 6 days and we have recieved nothing --- receipts should always be presented at checkout!!!

It was a breeze checking in, hotel staff were friendly, free breakfast...

The tub and shower were not pleasant, the plastic that was on the bottom of the floor of the tub was coming up when we were taking a shower and we were standing in about 3 inched of water the whole time because it didn't drain well....
